Amanda Pilz, PT, MPT
Physical Therapist
Amanda Pilz is not only a licensed Physical Therapist with over fourteen years of experience; she is also the owner of ProMotion Physical Therapy. After graduating from Duquesne University in 1993 with a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and a Masters Degree in Physical Therapy, Amanda practiced physical therapy in a variety of settings including acute and rehabilitative hospital care, outpatient orthopedics, and spinal care before founding ProMotion Physical Therapy in 2001.
Amanda is a current member of the American Physical Therapy Association and the Physical Therapy Association of Georgia. In addition to personal training, Amanda’s lifelong involvement in sports and fitness—including collegiate gymnastics and aerobics, and certification in kickboxing instruction—has given her a strong understanding of human motion. Amanda has also received certification in Craniosacral Therapy I and II, and Somato-emotional Release, as well as specializing in sinus and migraine headache treatment.
Amanda has been happily married since 1994; she and her husband have four beautiful children. Amanda enjoys brief moments of silence and tranquility in her life in the rare occasions they occur.

Kim Helms, PTA, AAS
Physical Therapist Assistant
Kim Helms is a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant with over 9 years of clinical experience. After graduating with honors in 1987 from the Medical College of Georgia, she worked in a hospital setting providing inpatient/outpatient physical therapy care. Kim then took several years off in order to start a family and has been with ProMotion Physical Therapy since the summer of 2005.
Kim is a current member of the American Physical Therapy Association and the Physical Therapy Association of Georgia. In additional to her extensive inpatient and outpatient clinical experience, Kim is certified in Craniosacral Therapy I & II and Somato-emotional Release.
Kim grew up and presently resides in Loganville and has been happily married since 1987. She and her husband have three beautiful daughters and enjoy outdoor activities including canoeing and snow skiing.

Brian Beard, PTA, AAS
Physical Therapist Assistant
Brian Beard is a new graduate and licensed Physical Therapist Assistant. Brian graduated with honors from Athens Technical College in June of 2007 and joined ProMotion Physical Therapy in August of 2007.
Brian is a current member of the American Physical Therapy Association, the Physical Therapy Association of Georgia, and Phi Theta Kappa National Honor Society.
Brian presently resides in Loganville and has been happily married since 1999. In his free time Brian enjoys spending time with his wife and pets and playing the guitar.

Lynne South
Front Office
Lynne South is our front office coordinator. Lynne is a graduate of Krissler Business Institute in New York State and has worked in various healthcare related settings since 1972 and in the state of Georgia since 1974. Lynne joined the staff of ProMotion physical Therapy in August of 2005.
Lynne has completed several continuing education courses in front office procedures and management, Medicare billing and reimbursement, and insurance coding and documentation.
Lynne married and moved to Georgia in 1974, has raised two sons, and has one grandson. Outside the office, she enjoys NASCAR racing, fishing, and dabbling in antiquing.

Bonita West
Front Office
Bonita West is our financial coordinator. Bonita attended McKenzie Business College in Chattanooga, TN after graduating from high school. Since 1980, Bonita’s professional experience includes quality control, customer service, account executive, and accounts payable/receivable.
Bonita was a small business owner until deciding to stay home and raise her two sons and daughter. Bonita enjoyed many years of community involvement by serving as treasurer in the athletic booster clubs at Loganville High School. Bonita and her husband enjoy time with family and friends, watching good movies and are looking forward to traveling more in the future. |
